    Kidney Pain

The place you would have pain in your back from
a kidney infection, or possibly stones would be
above the hips on either side of the spine.

Your back will feel tender to the touch. If someone
were to push on this area, even gently, with his or
her hand when you have a kidney infection, it will
    definitely hurt.

Although the pain is actually from the kidney itself
it is going to feel like it is lower back pain. If
the infection is treated quickly as it heals this is
going to take care of your back pain.

If it is a case of kidney stones causing the back pain,
I have a section of articles about kidney stones to read.
